Restoration of a Listed Coach House

This former coach house has been restored and extended to create an interesting family home. 

The false ceilings, and unsympathetic doors and windows, have been stripped away to reveal the former splendour and simplicity of the robust original structure.

A simple glazed link spans the gap between the old building and a new addition, built to complement, but not mimic, the original. The new building provides additional bedrooms, and the link creates a galleried entrance and living area.
