A sketch to show how a series of outbuildings linked to a listed building could be used for my client to downsize and offer her former house to her family. The linking staircase becomes a library for her treasured book collection.

A galvanised steel balcony attached to a house overlooking a step valley in The Derbyshire Dales. Seats, a pergola, slotted shelves for refreshments, and trailing plants make for an interesting place to reflect whilst taking in the view.
